Clone of Five for Friday: 5/20 Edition

Five things you absolutely must see/read/listen to this weekend:

1. This post on saying “I don’t know.” I so admire people who can say, “I don’t know.”

“Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” – Einstein

2. This article on how Millennials don’t want your stuffMillennials often get a bad rap, but I’m pretty impressed with their unattachment to physical possessions. I’m working on this myself.

3. This piece on how to create a home your children will want to return to. My favorite:

Sometimes it seems easier to close the door to friends, but I’m not sure anything other than temporary comfort is accomplished by that choice. Interacting with my children and their friends gives me opportunity again and again to train them, to demonstrate and teach wisdom and grace as well as speaking life and love into the extra kids in our home.

4. This photo essay on what happens when designers bake cookies.

5. This article on why a calorie isn’t just a calorie. I am surprised we don’t know more about the science of weightloss. But it’s not always as simple as calories in and calories out.
